Hirings Could Rev Up RV Industry

Plans by two RV companies to hire additional workers could breathe life back into the Northern Indiana RV industry. Fleetwood RV said it was hiring 650 workers at its Decatur, IN, manufacturing plant. RV supplier Dometic Corp. is hiring 240 at its Elkhart, IN, factory. More
RVs Getting Lighter, More Fuel Efficient

RV makers are using new composite materials called Eco Composites (EC), which replaces much of the wood and other materials used in traditional RV construction. Advantages to the use of EC are a lighter RV, translating into fuel savings and greater strength for longer-term durability. More

Nickelodeon to Feature RV in New Animated Series
