Army Corps Waive Recreation Fees in Early August from the Army Corp of Engineers The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will waive all day use fees normally charged at our recreation areas during the week of Aug. 1-9, 2009. This waiver encompasses only day use fees for swimming beaches and boat ramps. Fees for camping, specialized facilities such as picnic shelters and for other special use/events will not be waived. Home, Sweet (Temporary) Home from the Gazette Times Lynne and Bill Stout are full-time RVers. About eight years ago, the duo sold their Salem home and hit the road. "This is our house," Lynne Stout said, gesturing to their RV. She and her husband have "continuous traveler" on their driver's licenses. And the Stouts aren’t looking forward to leaving the motorhome lifestyle anytime soon. More
