Apple buys Toronto crowdsourced mapping firm Locationary
IT World Canada
In a bid to improve its Maps service, Apple has once more set a path for Canada and purchased Toronto-based crowdsourced mapping startup Locationary. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. This is not the first time Apple has purchased a Canadian mapping company.
