The University of Minnesota has a new simulation center to help give new nurses an edge. Students in the U of M Doctor of Nursing Practice program are gaining valuable experience through the new Bentson Healthy Communities Innovation Center. Real-life actors pretend to be patients to give students hands-on experience. They report symptoms and give feedback to help nurses learn to diagnose problems. More

Texas A&M nursing students participate in special training
Some nursing students from the Texas A&M Health Science Center received some special training and the lesson was as real as they could experience. The students experience what it feels like to be a patient in a hospital and some also had to react and respond to the scenario of a baby being abducted.More
