Don Godshaw, CEO of Travelon, is the recipient of this year's TGA Award, the industry's ultimate recognition of outstanding professional achievement. The TGA Award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the travel goods industry, the Travel Goods Association, and the community. Mr. Godshaw will be honored at The Travel Goods Show Awards Ceremony on Monday, March 7, at 6:00 p.m. at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.

For Kenny Johnson of Dallas, it was the sight of people struggling to create decent workspaces in the concourses of nearby Love Field; for Dale Benton of Atlanta, it was watching people fight with their travel pillows on a flight to Seattle. After careful deliberation, the TGA Board of Directors cast a unanimous vote to bring The Travel Goods Show back to Las Vegas as a stand-alone show. Hundreds of exhibitors and attendees alike weighed in with opinions and impassioned comments, but it was abundantly clear most of you wanted a return to Las Vegas — a sentiment echoed by that unanimous Board vote.
