Reporting self-defense with a gun to law enforcement
AmmoLand
This week's Law of Self Defense: Question of the Week comes from "Alliance Bean," who asks: "What's your opinion on reporting to law enforcement when drawing your weapon to fend off an attack without witnesses? Any downside?" This is a great question, one that I'm sure everyone who carries concealed has asked themselves at one point.

More choosing to gift a gun this Valentine's Day
WXIN-TV
Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and this year, many men will give a gift that will mean more than flowers or candy. They will give their significant other the gift of safety with a gun. Recently, the Rosenberg Police Department in Texas posted the suggestion on its Facebook page. While no Central Indiana police department has publicly pushed the idea, it appears to be catching on.

Senator: Make it legal to bring concealed guns across state lines
Politix
Concealed gun permit holders would be able to travel lawfully to other states with their firearms, under legislation offered by Sen. John Cornyn. The Texas Republican's bill would require states that have concealed-carry laws to allow permit holders from other states to carry weapons, as long as they abide by restrictions in jurisdictions they are visiting. Currently, all states allow some form of concealed carry although some, such as New York and Connecticut, are much more stringent than states such as Texas.

The best home defense lasers at every price point
Guns& Ammo

Open carry march Andrews, Texas, Feb. 15
Ammo Land
Andrews, Texas, has become a focus of activism for the restoration of the right to openly carry sidearms. Historically, the right was lost in the rewriting of the Texas Constitution in 1871 by the reconstruction government. After the reconstruction government was voted out, then driven from office by an impromptu militia, the Texas Constitution was rewritten again, but a loophole was left in that allowed the wearing of sidearms to be regulated.
