Texas House relaxes airport laws for handgun license holders
The Associated press via KTRK-TV
In Texas, it seems almost as common for travelers in airport security lines to forget they are carrying a handgun as it is for them to fail to take off their belts or shoes. A bill that passed the House recently would forgive concealed handgun license holders for such lapses.

TSA to gun owners: Don't pack heat on planes, keep it in your checked bags
RT
The Transportation Security Administration is trying very hard not to lose its patience with American gun owners. TSA has seen an increasing number of firearms confiscated at airport checkpoints and is warning people not to try to bring guns on planes. Last year, TSA saw a 22 percent increase in the number of firearms discovered at checkpoints across the country — a total of more than 2,200 guns. And that doesn't include the myriad gun-related items that are banned in carry-ons, like firearm components, realistic replica firearms, BB and pellet guns, airsoft guns and ammunition.

Gun owners pick their top 3 firearms
Guns & Ammo
It's a well known fact that gun owners rarely stop at owning just one firearm. Many shooters have an assortment of guns — some to fit specific purposes such as personal defense or hunting, others simply because they find them appealing. With all of the great firearms available, most shooters find it difficult to limit themselves to just a few guns. Asking gun owners to pick their favorite firearms can be even more contentious. To get a sense of which firearms gun owners feel are the best, we decided to ask NRA members at the 2015 NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits to tell us their top 3 firearms of all time.

Reloading your own ammunition: Polishing the brass
By Ken Jolly
Polishing the brass is my favorite step in reloading. Since I have not bought any new ammo in years, my brass casings come from range pickups and reusing my own. No matter where you get your brass, it accumulates quickly. You end up with a cache of tarnished and dirty metal that will polish into heaps of gold (or at least it will seem as valuable as gold to you). New cases for pistols sell for about 9 cents per round, so reusing these are a significant savings.
