Perry adds transportation to special session

Gov. Rick Perry has added transportation funding to the agenda of the special session. In his directive, Perry asked the Legislature to consider the "funding of transportation infrastructure projects" during the 30-day session, which began late last month.

TSA chief defends allowing knives on planes

Acting IRS chief vows travel and event spending diligence

The furor over that event, including a now-infamous "Star Trek" parody training video, echoes criticism of a controversial General Service Administration conference held the same year that ultimately led to GSA administrator Martha Johnson's resignation.
