Is Your Club Or Center Interested In Riding Western?
In January 2012, Pony Club launched a two-year pilot program to introduce western riding as a potential Pony Club discipline. A select number of clubs and centers are offering the discipline to their members. Standards of proficiency and test sheets have been published for the D-1 through C-2 levels. A frequently asked questions page has been developed, and the committee is now working on gathering materials, resources and activity ideas to support the teaching of western riding.
There are some new openings for clubs and centers who would like to participate in the pilot phase of this program. If your club or center is interested in participating in the pilot program, please complete the online application for consideration.
Horses' Inherent Response To Harsh, Soothing Tones Evaluated
Your mare just walked calmly past that frightening yellow flower pot. Your gelding just placed one foot up on the trailer platform.
