The Pony Club Horse Treat Fundraising Program is designed to enable Clubs, Centers and Regions to market an exclusive Pony Club labeled 12-ounce sized bag of the Sneak-e-Snacks Horse Treats to raise funds to support the Pony Club mission and activities of each Club, Center and Region.

It's Hot Outside: Protect Yourself From Heat Illness, Dehydration
As the weather gets warmer in some sections of the country, remember all those who are responsible for Pony Club activities in their Clubs to go to the Safety Page on the Pony Club website and click on the "It's Hot Outside" link. You will find information there on how to recognize, prevent and treat heat illness.

Be sure and access the Parent Caregiver Information and the Guide to Dehydration and Heat Illness. It is important to ensure that all participants stay hydrated and protected from the heat of the midday sun. Activities should be scheduled for early morning or late afternoons. Planning ahead is a key to prevention! Play safe and have fun, while being mindful of the weather alerts!

The USPC Founders Award
Each year, the Advisory Committee selects and presents to the USPC Board of Governors a nominee, or nominees, to receive the Founders Award.

Persons eligible to receive this prestigious award must be living individuals who have been active volunteers in Pony Club for at least 20 years and who have served on the National level, either as a member of a National Committee or on the Board of Governors. Ideally, such a person should also have made a significant contribution to Pony Club in his or her region or local registered Club. The names of prior recipients of the Founders Award can be found in the USPC Directory.

If you wish to nominate someone who meets these high standards, and has not yet received the award, please follow this link to the application.

20+ Year Local Legend Award
Established by the USPC Board of Governors in May 2010, this 20+ Year Local Legend Award is intended to honor those who have faithfully served their local club, center and/or region for at least 20 years. Recipient will be recognized in an upcoming issue of Pony Club News(space permitting), following receipt of complete form. This form must be completed by a DC, JtDC, CA, ACA, RS or VRS and submitted along with $10 to USPC.

USPC/USDF Dressage Recognition
Plan ahead! Pony Club members are recognized for their participation in both USPC Rallies and USDF Competitions. USPC members receive a certificate at the end of each year based on the criteria below. It will be the responsibility of the Pony Club member to get all the information together and send it to the National Office by the Nov. 15 deadline each year.

Blue Ribbon Club — Completion of one USPC Dressage Rally at the Walk/Trot Level or above and one USDF or USEF Dressage Show at the Walk/Trot Level.

Medallion Club — Completion of one USPC Dressage Rally at the Training Level or above and one USDF or USEF Dressage Show at the Training Level.

Bronze Medal Club — Completion of one USPC Dressage Rally at the First Level and one USDF or USEF Dressage Show at the First Level.

Silver Medal Club — Completion of one USPC Dressage Rally at the Second Level and one USDF or USEF Dressage Show at the Second Level.

Gold Medal Club — Completion of one USPC Dressage Rally (this can be in competition at any level or by being a volunteer for the rally) and completion of one USDF or USEF Dressage Show at Third Level or above.

All competitions must be completed during the current year. Click here for the application. Riders may apply for more than one award each year.
