Annual Meeting 2014 Equine Symposium
Jan. 22-26, 2014 — Portland, Ore.
We have some great topics that will be a part of the 2014 Equine Symposium at the Annual Meeting! We have grouped workshops into tracks targeted to specific groups, like: Pony Paddock, Rising Riders, HB and Up, New Parent, Club/Center Leadership, etc. This year the HB and Up and Horsemasters tracks will be offered as an offsite excursion, but you have to sign up in advance so ensure space.

Pony Club Is Participating In The 2013 NAJYRC Jump Contest!
This year's Adequan/FEI North American Junior & Young Riders Championship presented by Gotham North is being held July 17-21 at the Kentucky Horse Park. They are having a contest for decorating one of the cross country jumps, and Pony Club will be participating. The winner will receive a tailgaiting spot at the 2014 Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event. The National Office is gearing up for a big win for Pony Club!

Turn Feed Bags Into Money Bags
What can you do with an empty feed bag? Well, like many horse folks, you could reuse them as trash receptacles in the tack room. Or, you could cut out the brown paper inner lining and use them as poultice wraps (many of you are smiling now because you've done this). And some creative types might repurpose them as clever gift wrap for horsey friends — with baling twine "ribbon," of course!

But many of you may not know about another, more profitable way to use empty feed bags, that is, if they are Southern States®, Legends® or Triple Crown® feed bags from a Southern States location: Turn them into cash!
