Online orientations now available for new center administrators, district commissioners and regional supervisors
USPC
New leaders of clubs, centers and regions now have on-line training available to help them begin serving in their position. USPC’s Leadership Development and Support Committee has recently added on-line orientations for Center Administrators, District Commissioners and Regional Supervisors to the USPC website. The orientations are available in Power Point format, each taking approximately 20 minutes to view and are designed to aid new officers in comprehension of immediate requirements, basic on-going tips and the wide range or resources available to them.

The new Center Administrator orientation is available from the Center Administrator Resource Page of the USPC website. Likewise, the new District Commissioner orientation is found on the corresponding DC Resource Page.

Regional Supervisors will need to log on the Pony Club website to view their orientation on the Regional Supervisor page. Under “group pages”, scroll down to find the RS Orientation.

We hope that these orientations will help new officers feel comfortable in their new positions much faster and with greater confidence. If you would like to be part of the Leadership Development and Support Committee, to further help our wonderful volunteers, please contact us for more information.

The draw of horses after an accident
My Horse Daily
Horses have their own gravity. If you’ve loved them in the past and been pushed away because of an injury or accident, it’s possible you’ll be drawn right back to their beautiful, sleek, powerful sides. Gravity pulls you back even if your worries or fears make you wonder why, even when our biological responses to fear tell us not to go back to a dangerous situation.
