No national park designation this year for Hanford's B Reactor
Union Bulletin
Hanford's historic B Reactor will not become part of the National Park Service this year. Supporters' hopes for that died when a new version of the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal 2014 was released and it failed to include an amendment creating a new Manhattan Project National Historical Park. Two paths remain available in 2015 to create a new park that includes B Reactor.
