Montana proposes hermit crabs, two frogs as noncontrolled species

The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission has announced that it will hold a public hearing on Jan. 14, 2010, at 6 p.m., to discuss amending current rules by adding three species of exotic wildlife, including hermit crabs, to the list of noncontrolled species. At the aforementioned hearing, the Commission will discuss a proposed rulemaking that would amend the exotic wildlife list of noncontrolled species to include the Eritrea clawed frog, Cameroon volcano frog and the Terrestrial hermit crab. More
