Dynamic Pet products responds to Real Ham Bone dog treat queries

David Frick, president of Dynamic Pet Products, maker of Real Ham Bone dog treats, is quoted as saying his company's treats "... are safe when used properly," on Newsforshoppers.com. In the same article, a Dynamic Pet Products spokesperson said, "Our customer satisfaction rate is 99.9988 percent." The Newsforshoppers.com piece includes Real Ham Bone customer reviews from Consumer Affairs, an online product review site, as well as Amazon, which sells the product, and cites three comments about dogs getting sick after ingesting Real Ham Bone dog treats.

Shelter dogs now helping save lives In Nepal following earthquake

A dog named Stetson and his handler, California firefighter Andrew Olvera, are part of the search and rescue team that, five days after a devastating earthquake hit Nepal, found teenager Pemba Tamang in the wreckage of a collapsed building in Kathmandu, and then got him out to safety. Janet Reineck of the Search Dog Foundation, which trained Stetson and five other dogs currently deployed in Nepal, said on Twitter and Facebook that there were "tears of joy" at SDF as news of the rescue was received.

Sleepypod sets high standards for pet safety

Not too long ago, the words "cat carrier" indicated a cardboard box. But now that the pet industry is a $65 billion behemoth and nearly 25 million Americans travel with their pets each year, carrier manufacturers have created new designs and safety features that make traveling with any pet much easier and much safer. A survey by AAA and Kurgo produced some startling statistics on dogs, driver distraction and the dangers involved. It was found that 65 percent of pet owners admit to petting or holding down their pet, reaching back, taking photos or engaging in otherwise distracted behaviors while driving.
