Leading pet industry organizations join forces and pledge $125,000 to overturn pet sale ban
World Pet Association
Four pet industry organizations have joined together to support a pending lawsuit that challenges the prohibition of the sale of dogs and cats by pet stores in the city of Phoenix in hopes of preventing this ban and the passage of future bans. The American Pet Products Association, the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council, the Pet Industry Distributors Association and the World Pet Association have collectively donated $125,000 to support a lawsuit brought in the U.S. District Court in Phoenix on behalf of Phoenix pet store Puppies 'N Love.
