Pet Expo efforts raise $12,000 for Pet Care Trust

With the help of the Monrovia, Calif.-based World Pet Association (WPA) and several pet industry companies, The Pet Care Trust of Bel Air, Md., in April raised more than $12,000 for its Pets in the Classroom grant program at America's Family Pet Expo in Costa Mesa, Calif., The Pet Care Trust reported. The funds will provide grants to 100 teachers to help them finance a classroom pet, potentially reaching 3,000 students with the opportunity to experience the human-animal bond, the organization reported. More
