After busting at the seams last year, familiar faces, first-timers, products, educational seminars and grooming competitions will have an extra 23,000 square feet to work with this year. Expect the same great educational offerings through SuperZoo University and the School of Animal Wellness; hundreds of new pet products, many never before seen by the pet-owning public; and lots of returnees but plenty of first-time vendors, too, at this year's show.

Aquatic Experience adds gator encounter
Pet Age
The world's only traveling gator experience, Gator Encounters, is among the new exhibits at the World Pet Association's third annual Aquatic Experience – Chicago, Nov. 6-8 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. Show attendees will be able to interact with gators up close at a touch tank, as well as enjoy additional must-sea family programs.

New Yorkers can now get pet supplies delivered on demand

Doggy rain gear, treats and emergency clean-up supplies can now be delivered to your door within an hour. The on-demand grocery service Instacart is expanding its partnership with Petco to offer service in New York City for the first time, starting with access in parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn Tuesday, the company said.
