The right side is the wrong side
By Mark MacDonald
We've all become so used to well-designed, professional websites as we peruse the Internet. We subconsciously know what "feels" right on a website and what we don't like. Your organization's website will not be your audience's favorite website. You won't change paradigm with it — no matter how much you try. An interesting component of Web paradigm is where most ads are placed on a page — on the right side. Most people avoid the right side of a website. The right side is now the wrong side.

A guide to Google Analytics for small businesses
By Mayur Kisani
Google Analytics is one of the most powerful tools for tracking traffic patterns on your website. What's more appealing about it is that, like many other Google offerings, it's free. Analytics was launched in August 2006, but it was not available to users until a year later. Since then, it has come a long way. The platform is now easy to use and even integrates with other Google platforms like AdWords and AdSense.

Should your business post everything automatically to Facebook to Twitter and Instagram? There are many apps, websites and platforms that make it easy to update in one place and post on every social media platform attached to your name at the same time. Kitty corner: Spa leaves its clientele purring
San Francisco Chronicle
As Irene Leija and Stacey Ward pondered cutting into a piece of the nearly $6 billion pie that is the pet grooming industry, they discussed who the target clients for their new business might be. They came up with an unusual profile: furry, fussy, prone to hissing when things don't go their way, and — perhaps the most challenging — completely capable of grooming themselves with their own scratchy little tongues. While most other grooming professionals chase the dog audience, Leija and Ward are determined to corner cats.
