An outreach program that brought live patient courses from the ADA's annual session in October to dental schools in North America via webcast will be expanded at the 2010 annual session in Orlando—offering continuing education live webcasts to every ADA member. "We are excited about taking this initiative to the next level and offering the live webcast to every ADA member who is unable to attend the meeting," said Dr. Stephen W. According to a new national survey, the costs of some of the most popular types of health care coverage are projected to increase considerably in the coming year. The study also found that the majority of dental insurance plans will see significant price increases.The 2010 National Health Care Trend survey, conducted by Buck Consultants, analyzed the projected average annual increase of employer-sponsored benefit costs from over 100 health insurance providers. More
