TSA Begins Foreign Repair Station Security Audits
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is delivering questionnaires to FAA certificated part 145 repair stations operating outside the United States.

The survey is part of the security review and audit process mandated by Congress to occur within six months of TSA finalizing the aircraft repair station security rule. ARSA is encouraging all companies receiving the questionnaire to complete it as soon as possible and return it to TSA.

If you are an FAA certificated part 145 repair station located outside the United States and haven't been reached by TSA, please contact ARSA's Vice President of Legislative Affairs Daniel Fisher.

Give Your Two Cents on ARSA Strategic Plan
For over 25 years, ARSA has been the voice of aviation maintenance, promoting and defending the industry in the regulatory, legislative, and media arenas. To ensure the association's continued growth in these areas, both domestically and abroad, the ARSA Board of Directors recently approved the new "ARSA 20-20" strategic plan.

The plan outlines association goals and objectives for the coming year and will allow members to track its progress through pre-determined benchmarks. The restructuring of membership dues will fund additional resources and ensure the Positive Publicity Campaign, previously financed by individual corporate contributions, is supported by the entire membership.

ARSA members are strongly encouraged to review both the "ARSA 20/20" executive summary and the detailed strategic plan to learn more about association objectives moving forward. Feedback can be sent to arsa@arsa.org.
