ARSA Remembers: Jim Oberstar (1934-2014)
ARSA was sad to learn of the passing of former House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Jim Oberstar, D-Minn., on May 3. Dubbed "Mr. Transportation" by his colleagues, he began his career as an aide to his hometown congressman, John Blatnik, D-Minn., then-chairman of the House Public Works Committee (now known as the House Transportation and Infrastructure [T&I] Committee).
