FAA to Clarify Final Inspection Guidance
In response to ARSA's Nov. 30, 2011 and May 14, 2014 requests, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will revise Order 8900.1 to reflect that that repair station personnel performing final maintenance inspections are not required to be certificated under part 65.

SkyWest considering Boise for $20-30 million maintenance building
Aviation Pros
SkyWest named Boise as a finalist for a new SkyWest maintenance building that would bring between 80 and 100 jobs here as well as $20 million to $30 million in construction investment. Boise is one of three cities being considered for the new operation, SkyWest spokeswoman Marissa Snow said.
