ARSA Requests Extension to Comment Periods for ICA Drafts
On Aug. 14, ARSA requested an extension of the comment periods for both of the FAA's draft documents addressing Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA). Given the importance of the issue to member companies, the association asked for 90 additional days after the original Oct. 6 deadline to research and develop comments.

Airlines for America Projects 3 Percent More Passengers to Fly During Labor Day Period

Airlines for America (A4A), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, today projected 14.2 million people will fly over the Labor Day holiday period, a 3 percent increase from last year. Emirates Plans World's Longest Flight

Emirates Airline plans to fly the longest nonstop flight in the world next February, when it launches new direct service between Dubai and Panama City.
