According to the 2018 Hiscox Small Business Cybersecurity Report, 47% of small businesses experienced an attack in the past 12 months. Cybersecurity is a serious concern, yet the report shows only 52% of businesses have a cybersecurity strategy. Why don't small businesses care about cybersecurity? It's not fair to assume that small businesses truly don't care about it, but they do often ignore cybersecurity concerns.

One window film expert is speaking out on the Green New Deal proposed for New York City. Its mayor, Bill de Blasio, introduced it in April, and it aims to reduce an additional 30% of carbon emissions by 2030. Which means the city’s future buildings might need to rethink what materials will be used. “I think it appears to be a part of a new term [de-carbonization] that pushes to reduce energy use by energy produced by fossil fuels,” said Darrell Smith, International Window Film Association executive director.

E Ink Corp., which created the “electronic paper” video displays for e-book readers such as the Amazon Kindle, is moving to the rest of your house. The Billerica company said it can now make electronic window shades that can control the amount of light entering a room by changing the transparency of the window itself. The JustTint system uses a transparent film that can be laminated inside two panes of window glass, or attached to an existing window.

The Wall Street Journal met with Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen owner George Abi Habib to discuss how the newly-implemented Chinese tariffs will affect his remodeling company.
The new tariffs, which increased from 10% to 25%, will affect more than $200 billion worth of Chinese exports. Many industries are affected - including wood.
Habib is nervous that his customers will not agree to pay a higher price.
