HomeAdvisor recently released its True Cost Report
on generational trends in home improvement, the negligible impact of rising interest rates on homeowner decision making and the growth of home improvement spending.
Findings of the report show that 80 percent of homeowners surveyed plan to stay in their existing homes rather than move, and as a result are planning to spend more on home improvement projects this year, with half of all respondents considering a remodel.

If cash flow is the lifeblood of the construction industry, then most are in desperate need of a transfusion. In a recent survey of construction firms, 84 percent reported that they had problems with cash flow. Almost 19 percent stated that they dealt with cash flow issues on a constant basis. Companies that experienced cash flow shortages at least once a month accounted for 17 percent of respondents.
