Call for CARWACS Toronto Sessions Panelists
CCA
The Canadian Carwash Association (CCA) will once again be hosting professional development sessions at CARWACS Toronto on March 10-11, 2015 at The International Centre. CCA is looking for member industry experts to participate as panelists for the following sessions:

SERVICE REPAIR AND UPKEEP OF CARWASH
EQUIPMENT: HOW TO MAKE IT PAY
Wednesday, March 11, 10:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.

You've invested (or are about to invest) thousands in your facility's equipment. Now, how do you get the most out of it and keep your carwash operating at a profit? Downtime costs money, from time spent having someone service your equipment and from lost revenue. Attend this special interactive session and listen to what prominent manufacturers and suppliers to the carwash industry have to say about the current state and future challenges facing the industry. Be prepared to ask questions as this is where you'll be able to have your concerns addressed straight from the source.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Kiki Cloutier at the CCA National Office.

Central vacs: Rules of thumb for system installation
AutoLaundry
Whether at an existing wash or new construction, it can be accomplished in four simple steps: You begin by installing the vacuum equipment in either an equipment room, adjacent to the point of vacuum, or even on the outskirts of the property. This is followed by the selection and installation of the filter separator. Then you install the support structures and vacuum manifold, as identified per the construction drawings and in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction. Lastly, electrical systems such as the disconnect, motor starter or VFD, and turbine(s) are wired for use.
