Rod's Esso to Celebrate 20th Anniversary on Saturday, May 16th

Rod Boynton opened his Innisfil, Ontario-based Esso gas station, carwash and lube shop in 1995 and celebrates 20 years of business this weekend, Saturday, May 16, 2015. The celebration will include free carwashes, a free barbecue and prize giveaways.

In a recent article in the Innisfil Journal, Rod speaks on the importance of building relationships to make his family business a success. "If someone is leaving the place with a smile on their face, than you know they are coming back," said Boynton. Rod’s Esso, and all Esso locations in Canada, operate under Imperial Oil, a CCA oil company member.

Car Wash Show sees 22 per cent attendance increase

Nearly 6,900 industry professionals participated in the world's largest car wash event, The Car Wash Show, held in April in Las Vegas. The total attendance number represented a 22 percent increase, compared with last year's convention and trade show in Chicago and was the event's largest total since 2008.
