C.A.R.E. announces new dates for 2021 Conference
Resort Trades
C.A.R.E. has announced that its 68th Conference, to be held at The Westin Sarasota, Sarasota, Florida, will now take place from August 21-August 24, 2021.
After careful consideration, and upon review of a C.A.R.E. 2021 Membership Survey provided by INTUITION Brand Marketing, the C.A.R.E. Board of Directors deemed it prudent to reschedule the conference from its original May dates.

World Travel and Tourism Council is against mandatory COVID-19 vaccines

The CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council says she is against a global mandate to require a COVID-19 vaccination in order to travel.
“We should never require the vaccination to get a job or to travel,” Gloria Guevara said in remarks at the Reuters Next Conference. “If you require the vaccination before travel, that takes us to discrimination.”

Tripadvisor tests tool to aid socially distanced travel

Tripadvisor has launched a new platform to help consumers identify areas that are less crowded in cities around the United States.
Known as Crowdfree.me, the platform was created by a team of engineers from Tripadvisor, Slack, Amazon Web Services and nine other technology companies.
