Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday said he doesn't know when the new testing and quarantine regulations will take effect, or when they might end.

Ontario begins phased reopening Wednesday, majority of regions to remain in lockdown

The Ontario government said the province will begin a phased reopening on Wednesday, however, a majority of regions will remain in lockdown amid the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Public Health, and Renfrew County and District Health Unit will move back to the Green-Prevent zone in the original colour-coded framework introduced by the government in November and will no longer fall under the stay-at-home-order.

Now that the U.S. requires visitors and returning residents to provide proof of negative COVID-19 test results in order to enter the country, international travel has become more complicated and uncertain. Not only does this dictate that leaving the country will require that you locate approved testing sites at your destination, which can provide documented results within 72 hours of your return flight, it also means you’ll need to be prepared for an extended stay, more testing and perhaps medical treatment, should you test positive while abroad.

JLL Hotels & Hospitality has released its 2021 Hotel Investment Outlook, covering the company’s overall global outlook on the industry and overarching trends.
While “uncertainty and cautiousness” plagued hotel investor interest in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the commercial real estate services company believes the global lodging industry is poised to rebound in 2021. In the report, JLL claims the hospitality industry’s resilience “shaped new experiences and demand from consumers” while also accelerating trends as hoteliers shifted operations and strategy.
