RCI adds 70 affiliated properties to world's largest exchange network during first half of year

staySky Hotels & Resorts launches new vacation club
Florida-based hotelier and Management Company, staySky Hotels & Resorts recently announced its entry into the popular vacation ownership industry with the launch of staySky Vacation Club.
As of June 14th 2014, four of the hotel group's properties were included in the new vacation club, with a primary sales center at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa in Orlando.

Hoteliers will never win over their guests with threats. The Union Street Guest House in Hudson, New York, learned this the hard way after the New York Post highlighted the hotel's attempt to fine wedding parties $500 for negative online reviews posted by any members of their parties.
Hundreds of people took to Yelp.com to complain about the policy and write mostly fake, eviscerating reviews of the property.

Fitch: U.S. timeshare delinquencies fall to lowest level since 2007

U.S. timeshare ABS delinquencies fell again this past quarter to their lowest level in seven years, according to the latest index results from Fitch Ratings.
Total delinquencies for second quarter-2014 (2Q'14) were 2.92 per cent, down from 3.19 per cent in 1Q'14 and 3.05 per cent in 2Q'13. This marks two years of consistent year-over-year improvement.
