Premier Ford pushes to end 14 day quarantine

It’s a statement that could signal a return to normalcy in the travel industry: Ontario Premier Doug Ford wants to “knock down” the mandatory 14 day quarantine required for all travellers returning to Canada.
Ford made the statement on Wednesday during a news conference where he was asked whether the Canada/US border should be tightened given the escalating number of COVID 19 cases on both sides.

YUL passengers will soon be offered rapid screening tests

ADM Aéroports de Montréal and Biron Health Group Inc. are launching a pilot project to test a new rapid screening process for COVID-19 on departures from YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to destinations requiring a negative result medical certificate for admission to their territory. These antigenic tests will make it possible to perform certified and rapid tests within 15 minutes.

Congress to mandate doctor on board all cruise ships
