EAPA is seeking nominations for positions on the EAPA Board of Directors for the 2016-18 term of service. EAPA members will be electing a new President Elect, a Secretary-Treasurer, and seven At Large Directors (four U.S. based, three non-U.S. based). At least one At Large Director residing in the U.S. must be a member of a labor union and work in a labor employee assistance program. The Nomination Period will begin on Thursday, May 5, and remain open through Aug. 2. Online voting will take place from Aug. 25 - Sept. 23. Nearly four in five employers (78 percent) predict moderate to significant changes in their health plan designs and vendor strategies over the next four years, according to Willis Towers Watson's 2016 Emerging Trends in Health Care Survey. These changes are intended to manage healthcare costs and improve plans' value. Once they are put into place, employers anticipate cost increases in 2016 to be around 4 percent (for the second consecutive year), the smallest increase in 15 years but more than twice the Consumer Price Index.
