Employee Assistance Professionals Association
The 2019 EAPA Conference & EXPO app puts important conference resources at your fingertips so you're always in touch and informed. The app provides an updated conference schedule, speaker, sponsor and exhibitor directories, as well as maps to sessions and EXPO hall. The app is free and personalized and allows you to: select the sessions/events you want to attend, identify the exhibitors you want to visit and locate them on the interactive EAPA EXPO map, list sessions by domain and level of experience, complete session evaluations, and customize your contact information and share it with your fellow attendees. While most employers offer an employee assistance program (EAP) as part of their benefits packages, these services often go unused because employees don't know about them or understand what they provide—or employees may feel there's a stigma around using these services. This missed opportunity can hinder workers from getting help they need, said speakers at the annual conference of the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC), held at National Harbor, Md., the first week of August.
