Above the Law
The most common reason lawyers are disbarred is for stealing client funds, usually by mismanaging the law firm's trust account. He will claim that his actions were to due to lack of organization, sudden financial problems and mental health issues.

You may have noticed the many ways in which the medicinal cannabis space and the financial world are increasingly intersecting. Over the last few years, the burgeoning medical marijuana sector has received enormous attention — largely in parallel with a rapidly shifting legislative climate.
The sector has become highly lucrative, with a global market poised to reach a value of $55.8 billion by 2025. With multiple share markets, including the ASX, abuzz with an ever-growing crop of so-called "pot stocks," the subject has become a kind of permanent topic du jour in the investment space.

There are layers to unhealthy drinking. A binge, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is anything that brings a person’s blood-alcohol level to 0.08 or higher, typically five drinks for men or four for women over the course of a couple of hours. High-risk drinking, meanwhile, is consuming binge-level amounts of alcohol at least once a week. Alcohol Use Disorder, more commonly referred to as alcohol abuse or dependence, is diagnosed according to criteria outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, including experiencing withdrawal symptoms and drinking interfering with work or family.

There can be no question about it; employee wellness needs a kick-start in the right direction. Work-related stress, anxiety and depression now account for over 10 million working days lost each year, while 40 percent of NHS resources are spent on preventable diseases. Combine this with an increasing array of financial pressures, the demands of an "always-on," but sedentary, lifestyle and you have a recipe for a high-stress, high-cholesterol workforce.
Taking steps to improve employee wellness — financial, physical and mental — can bring about real, positive change for businesses.

Experts at LondonOffices.com claim there is a growing trend for the once sober out of office auto responder to be loaded up with boasts about how much fun the worker is having while they are away from the office.
Brags include details of the person’s holidays, their access to glamorous sporting events and landmark life events such as weddings and new babies – some even attached photographs.
Many will mask their boasting in self-deprecation – turning it into a ‘humble brag’ while others prefer to deflect the boastful nature of the content with humour.
But despite the jokes out of office messages are increasingly being used to communicate to contacts how wonderful the worker’s life is – with many sending out thousands of emails including personal details to clients and work associates with whom they have a purely professional relationship.
