Deputies said 20-year-old Skylar refused to take part in a burglary, and they believe that in retaliation, his most prized possessions, an Orange County Sheriff's Office flight suit and his karate belt, were stolen and burned. Circuit Judge Patricia Strowbridge teamed up with Demings to have them replaced, and presented the items to Skylar. Demings also made Skylar an honorary deputy.
