The Lee County Sheriff's Office handed out their first Reunite Kits Tuesday. Part of the program is a partnership with United Way, providing scent kits to families with potentially endangered adults or children. The kits will help the bloodhounds in finding the missing person.

Sheriff DeLoach approved the idea of a change in duty uniforms as it would "enhance the health and safety of our deputies and will result in cost savings for our residents."
