The game is an emerging technology blend of augmented reality (or AR, which superimposes digital information onto a real environment) and more fully immersive virtual reality. It moved to Lake County in 2000 from Chicago and shares a facility with its parent, Crown Packaging. Polycon Industries currently employs more than 130 workers and is hiring for skilled machine operators, processors and mechanics.
