IGLTA announces 2nd annual Student Tourism Awards

IGLTA is proud to host university students from around the world at the 29th Annual Global Convention in Florianopolis, Brazil (12-14 April) as part of a program created to introduce future tourism leaders to LGBT travel. More than 70 talented students have applied for our Student Tourism Awards this year, which are sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and Delta Air Lines. The award recipients will be announced in late March. "This year's applicants have demonstrated outstanding community involvement and a tremendous sense of the value the LGBT traveler represents to global tourism," says IGLTA Board Member Mya Reyes, who sits on the STA committee.
