IGLTA makes splash at Pow Wow
IGLTA    Share   E-mail article
The IGLTA team staffed a booth for the first time at the U.S. Travel Association's International Pow Wow in San Francisco, 22-25 May, sharing the space with organizational partner Community Marketing. "There was so much enthusiasm surrounding our presence," IGLTA President/CEO John Tanzella said. "Many of the tour operators and travel agents that had appointments with us came from Central/South America and Europe, but there were also several visits from businesses in China and Japan, which was very exciting." On the open evening of Pow Wow, IGLTA hosted an LGBT party at the chic Infusion Lounge near Union Square with support from ABSOLUT Vodka, GayCities and CMI. Many thanks to our members for making this such a successful first event. We're looking forward to expanding the LGBT presence during Pow Wow 2012 in Los Angeles.
