The Center for Black Equity (CBE) works to achieve equality and justice for black LGBTQ communities through expansive platforms focused on Health Equity, Economic Equity and Social Equity. The CBE membership is comprised of Black LGBTQ Pride events in nearly 40 cities in the U.S. and eight countries internationally. San Diego Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 1974, which brings together the skills, talents and vision of a diverse community through numerous LGBT youth- and senior-serving programs. The annual San Diego Pride Celebration, which is now the fourth largest Pride celebration in the United States, supports San Diego Pride’s community philanthropy, allowing the organization to distribute more than $2 million in advancement of its mission to foster pride and equality for all LGBT people locally, nationally, and globally.
