Travel the World with an LGBTQ-Friendly Cruise |

Taking a cruise is a unique way to experience multiple destinations in a single trip and the journey to each port of call is part of the adventure. Cruise options range from megaships to small and intimate sailboats and can take you to amazing destinations by ocean, sea or river. There are many elements that go into selecting the right cruise for you including region of the world, destination, amenities and how LGBTQ-friendly the provider may be. IGLTA's membership includes a variety of cruise providers including LGBTQ-owned and LGBTQ-only itineraries from members like Atlantis, Source Events or Olivia Cruises. We're also lucky to include mainstream brands committed to offering welcoming experiences to any LGBTQ traveler like Silversea Cruises with their large ships, Belmond's luxury river barges or Aqua Expeditions' river cruises in the Amazon or Vietnam. Do you want to know who's on board your next cruise or learn useful information about a cruise line or itinerary from the LGBTQ perspective? Join the world's LGBTQ cruise community at MeetMeOnBoard.
Bucket List Destinations from IGLTA Members |

We sat down with three members of IGLTA and asked where they would travel if they could drop everything and book a flight today. Here's what they had to say.
"Australia and New Zealand are top of my list. Combination of natural beauty, different cultures, wine and gay-friendliness." – Marta from Brazil Ecojourneys, learn more about her GaySurfCamp in Brazil this coming March.
"As a travel professional, I'm ashamed to say I have not been to Portugal, Spain or Italy. I've always traveled to destinations that seem a bit more exotic, but I'm ready for these three – and I'm especially excited for Portugal. I'm a food and wine lover, and I hear that it's up and coming, yet still very affordable. I can't wait!" – Robert from Out Adventures, learn more about his Vietnam and Cambodia Cruise this coming January.
"I've always wanted to spend time in Africa on a safari. Being connected to nature keeps us grounded. I imagine being in the presence of large animals in the wild reminds us of our own insignificance. It seems like a bucket list destination and experience." - Debbie from New Zealand Awaits, learn more about her Highlights and Hotspots Women's tour in New Zealand this coming January.
