In the past two years, the economy has forced many organizations to change the way they operate. Cost-cutting measures were often necessary to enable businesses to keep their doors open. In many cases, these measures included a reduction in work force. Accounting or finance positions were hit hardest, as these were considered "less essential" when compared to income-generating positions such as sales and customer service.
