Bloomberg: Medicaid expansion cost could exceed forecast

Expanding Mediciad could cost 50 percent more than the Congressional Budget Office forecasts, Bloomberg reported. Medicaid, the state-federal health insurance plan for the poor, will expand in 2014 to cover most Americans earning less than 133 percent of the federal poverty level, or about $29,000 for a family of four this year.
