A new beauty treatment uses acupunture and magnets to create healthy skin
Sarasota Magazine
Beauty mavens, take note: there's a new, and very rare, skin care treatment in town. It's called Qi Beauty, and Bradenton's Pure Skincare by Elizabeth is one of only two salons in Florida — and four in the U.S. — to offer it.
Developed by an Australian aesthetician in 2003, Qi uses tiny, negatively polarized gold magnets to stimulate skin tissue.

Beauty brands led by women on a mission to do good
Beauty Packaging
Beauty consumers have different priorities since the pandemic, experts say, and we're all a little more focused on "doing good," whether it is for people or the planet.
Mintel recently released its 2021 forecast considering how consumer behaviors have changed during the COVID-19 pandemic — but says last year's Global Consumer Trends 2030 report remains accurate. "Our new 2021 forecasts remain embedded within our system of Mintel's 7 Trend Drivers and their supporting pillars," the new report states.

It's time to take charge of your own brand
By Hank Boyer
Here's an easy way to think about your brand: you are who others think you are. Who someone thinks you are is behind every visceral reaction he or she has whenever you come to mind. That is a profound statement, but undeniably true. Every single person with whom you've come in contact begins to build a list of descriptors to define what they believe is true about your brand. Because you live in your own skin, you’ve built a perception of your own brand that is what you want it to be. More often than not, it differs from what others believe it to be.
