Medical tourism has grown into a healthy travel sector as people shop beyond their borders for everything from dental work to plastic surgery. Thanks to the internet, a growing middle class, often from countries without high-quality healthcare, "know that there are treatments out there for them," said Julie Munro, president of the Medical Travel Quality Alliance, which produces a ranking of the 10 best hospitals for medical tourists.

Americans seem to be closing their eyes to a problem that's growing, despite exhaustive research into the ramifications. It's time to wake up and smell the coffee: We don't get enough sleep. Insufficient sleep has been declared a "public health problem" by the CDC, which attributed an increased risk of chronic conditions such as diabetes, depression, cancer and reduced productivity to a shortage of shut-eye. The "productivity" reference covers a lot of ground.
When you're really effing stressed out about a big project, fighting with your S.O., or going through a major life change, you can at least slap a smile on and no one can see the swirling storm inside, right?
Well, not exactly. One of the "fun" bonus perks of stress is that it can take it out on your skin — making all that inner turmoil plain for everyone else to see. (And that's not the only weird physical stress symptom.)

If Tony Robbins and Tim Ferriss both gave you the same advice, would you consider taking it? Both men are incredibly successful, yet they come from backgrounds to which many of us can relate. In less than five minutes, Ferriss walked through three powerful questions he asks himself regularly.

Transgender inclusion is not only a civil rights issue but also a business issue. Forbes estimates that North Carolina's controversial HB2 law has cost the state at least $630 million in lost business. Currently, 20 states and several cities already have anti-discrimination laws based on gender identity, making lawsuits a possibility for businesses that fail to accommodate trans customers and employees properly. Here are four ways to show your business is committed to being a trans-friendly workplace.
The internet is full of tips, tricks and tactics for how to get ahead with your online business. The problem with these tips is that they're surface level. And this is why most people think marketing doesn't work. Because if you just focus on surface level shit, you'll, at-best, only see surface level results. Having a mishmash of try-and-fail tactics isn't doing what you're marketing any justice at all. In fact, it's probably doing more harm than good.
It is surely no surprise that modern technology is a key to removing the guesswork and unlocking better digital marketing performance. There are two areas in which this particularly applies: identifying the correct marketing personas and their relevant characteristics for personalization, thus removing planning guesswork, and creating audiences directly from the personas, thus removing audience selection guesswork.

Doctors who are consulted about health and tattoo risks have an important role in the prevention of an individual's tattoo complications. Tattooing is a tremendous exposure of the human body to needle operation, particles, and chemicals. The risk is related to a person's health condition, level of insight, decision-making, and to the operation of tattooing, tattoo inks and utensils, tattoo parlor, and the aftercare.

Middle school students across the U.S. are learning how the body works by studying the anatomy of a frog, a vertebrate with an organ system similar to that of humans. But unlike school lab work that uses real specimens or images of a virtual frog on a screen, a new approach to this standard experiment is taking the act of learning to a unique interactive level, thanks to the use of technology known as blended reality.
