There’s a reason so many service-based businesses try marketing, experience little to no success, and claim marketing “doesn’t work.” What they fail to understand is that it’s not their efforts that are at fault. It’s that they’ve skipped over something else —
something so critical, all else relies upon it.

There hasn't been a new major player in social media for a while, but the time is ripe for one. Facebook use is down for the first time, and Instagram users are not pleased with the new algorithmic (not chronological) feed. And just like that, Vero, an app you likely never heard of, has gone viral with downloads increasing 1,465 percent during the week of Feb. 18. Vero boldly declares, in its manifesto no less, that the company created a more authentic social network.

There is an essential — and essentially human — movement in learning — a point where something transitions from other to self.
