Les Nouvelles Esthetiques & Spa
A traditional 50 or 60-minute treatment just isn't fitting the needs of today's client anymore. Instead, they are requesting polar opposites — either express services of 30 minutes or less or extended single treatments of 90 to 120 minutes. The trend in express treatments speaks to the need to have maintenance done while living in our fast-paced, 24/7 connected culture. The trend toward longer treatments, on the other end, is driven by the need for those overworked people to fully relax — and the length of time it takes to relax them — when they have a block to dedicate to overall wellness.

Burger King has opened a spa in one of its restaurants and we're unsure what to think. Although the idea of nibbling on some fries as we enjoy a little quiet "me time" does sound rather delicious, we think allowing people to order Whoppers to enjoy while sweating it out in the sauna might be taking it too far.
Nevertheless, the world's first BK spa is a thing that exists on the ground floor of the Mannerheimintie branch of Burger King in Helsinki, Finland.

Aging is a multifactorial process where genetic, endogenous and environmental factors play a key role. Skin is the largest organ of the human body, and is not only responsible for its youthful appearance, but also its various physiological functions. Aged skin shows disturbed skin permeability, angiogenesis, lipid and sweat production, immune function and vitamin D synthesis, as well as development of precancerous lesions and oncogenic transformation. The effect of sugars on aging skin is governed by the simple act of covalently cross-linking two collagen fibers, which renders them both incapable of easy repair.

When customers are frustrated, they often don't reach out to your customer service line anymore. For better or worse, they instead share their negative experience on social media. Negative comments, bad reviews and snarky tweets will always be there, and deleting them is certainly not the way to go. This is your chance to turn a customer you're about to lose for life into a brand advocate. Yes, it can be done, and it's much more doable than you would think.

Students like online classes due to their flexibility and convenience. But not all students do well in these courses; the statistics indicate that online classes have a much higher dropout rate compared to traditional face-to-face classes. The attrition rates in online courses tend to be 10 to 20 percent higher than in face-to-face classes. While there are some personal factors that could influence a student's decision to drop out, many of the factors are related to institutional and course level support — and these barriers can be addressed with thoughtful planning and implementation.
