We hope that you are all safe and staying healthy in this current environment. We wanted to let you know that we will be hosting two webinars (via Zoom) in June to provide you with valuable continuing education, while at the same time, also bringing the membership together to discuss issues you are experiencing in this "new normal."
We will be offering two hours of CEU on both Wednesday, June 10, and Wednesday, June 24, from 10 a.m. until noon. We are finalizing the presentations with the speakers now, but each will include a focus on COVID-19 updates and/or provide solutions to you in your role as an municipal engineer during this time. As typical, we will have government officials join us (like representatives from DOT and DEP) — and that will provide the members with an opportunity for Q&A. We will also designate additional time at the end of the webinars for member to member interaction, this will allow for some discussion of best practices and peer to peer guidance as we change the ways we do municipal engineering in these challenging circumstances. Look for registration details in your inboxes in the coming days!
*Keep in mind, for those in need of education credits, the deadline has been extended to Tuesday, June 30.

Construction Best Practices
While construction companies across the world eagerly try to keep current projects on track, it's not enough to simply hope for a return to normal. There are ways to maintain growth, even in the midst of this pandemic, but it won't look like how most construction companies have promoted themselves in the recent past. Construction companies must be more proactive and focused on executing a clear strategy to grow their business, and ensuring that their strategy touches every aspect of how they operate.
