The Garden State's progress towards a clean energy future took a big step recently when the owner of the state's largest utility announced it would re-evaluate its use of fossil fuels, opening the door for the sale of multiple power plants.
Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), the Newark-based parent company of PSE&G, said that it would "explore strategic alternatives" for its fleet non-nuclear power plants, which are operated by a separate subsidiary, PSEG Power.

Revenues at the mighty Port Authority of New York and New Jersey was kneecapped for the first half of 2020 by the coronavirus pandemic, recording a $777 million revenue loss during the first six months of the year when compared to the same period in 2019, said Elizabeth McCarthy, agency chief financial officer.

Slow down, folks: traffic pattern changes are coming to Wall.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) announced recently that traffic pattern will change for the Atlantic Avenue Circle on Route 35, requiring a complete restripe of the roadway to prepare for the shift.
Currently, drivers on Route 35 entering the traffic circle have the right of way, and drivers already within the circle must yield.

While the U.S. domestic gross product in the second quarter dropped to its lowest point since 1947, nonresidential and residential fixed investment contracted by 27% and 38.7%, respectively, the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) reported recently.
